DESCRIPTION
A Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) is a personal respiratory protection device specifically designed for oxygen-deficient and toxic/hazardous gas environments. Its core value lies in freeing users from reliance on external air sources. Through a built-in high-pressure air system and high-efficiency filtration components, it creates an independent, clean breathing space for the wearer.
Widely used in scenarios such as fire rescue, chemical emergency response, mine rescue, and confined space operations, it serves as the "last line of defense" for safeguarding human life safety. Compared with traditional filter-type respirators, SCBAs do not depend on the quality of ambient air. Even in extreme environments—such as heavy smoke, toxic gas leaks, or oxygen concentrations below 19.5%—they can continuously supply breathing air that meets safety standards, effectively protecting against harmful substances like carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, cyanides, and dust particles.
